Flames snaps -- Johnny Gaudreau finally steps into series dominated by Ducks' shooting stars

Anaheim Ducks captain Ryan Getzlaf and his snarky sidekick, Corey Perry, are still winning the series scoring race in a runaway.

But rookie sensation Johnny Gaudreau — one-third of the Calgary Flames’ struggling top line — struck at a perfect time in Tuesday’s Game 3 at the Saddledome.

With 19.5 seconds left on the clock in regulation time, the 21-year-old left-winger post-marked a wicked wrister for the top-shelf, collecting his first point in the second round and sending the Flames into overtime for the first time in nine outings in their return to the Stanley Cup playoffs.
