The Calgary Flames have inked one of their top picks in the 2020 NHL Draft. Defenseman Yan Kuznetsov has been signed to a three year entry level deal. Terms were not disclosed.

Kuznetsov, 19, just finished his sophomore year at the University of Connecticut, where he had six points in 16 NCAA games. He also played at the World Juniors, representing Russia.
