Flames sign Dmitry Zavgorodniy to an entry level contract

With the regular season almost wrapped up, the Flames are getting a head start on their offseason business. The club announced this afternoon that they have signed 2018 seventh round pick Dmitry Zavgorodniy to a three year entry level contract.

The deal is a standard entry level contract. Because he is still 18, the contract is three years and won’t start running until 2020-21, unless he manages to squeeze in ten NHL games before the start of that season.
