The Calgary Flames have signed 36-year-old forward Brad Richardson to a one-year contract worth $800,000, the club announced Wednesday afternoon.

Richardson spent the 2020–21 season with the Nashville Predators, scoring one goal and four points in 17 games.
He spent the preceding five seasons with the Arizona Coyotes, topping out at 19 goals and 27 points in 66 games with the club in 2018–19.
