The healthy stretch for the Calgary Flames is officially over. The club has placed defenseman Michael Stone and forward Michael Frolik on the injured reserve list.
Michael Stone has a blood clot and has been placed on IR. No timeline for a recovery right now.

Stone has been a healthy scratch for 11 of the past 12 games. According to Postmedia’s Wes Gilbertson, the Flames discovered the blood clot this morning in Stone’s arm.
