Flames at World Juniors Day 2: North America conquers Europe

On the second day of World Junior round robin play in the Edmonton bubble, the three Calgary Flames prospects representing North America were part of a pair of routs over European countries.

Canada 16, Germany 2

Canada scored early and often, out-shooting the undermanned Germans 44-15 and seeing 17 different Canadians hit the scoresheet. (Germany was playing their second game in as many days.)

Jakob Pelletier had a goal and was +4 in 13:20, while Connor Zary was one of three skaters to not get a point – he was +2 in 10:33, playing the least of all of Canada’s forwards.
