Coach Lowry has no concerns at all about team after camp

The head coach of Canada’s team for the 2016 world junior championship will head into the season firm in the belief that the foundation for another run at gold was set during the summer development camp this week.

“I don’t think right now we have any concerns,” Lowry said after Canada ended camp on Thursday with a 6-2 exhibition victory against the Czech Republic at the Markin MacPhail Centre.

“As a group we appreciate how hard these guys came in and played. They were put in taxing situation and to play these games with that much emotion, that much physicality, I thought our guys did a really good job.
