The Calgary Flames have traded forward Sean Monahan and a conditional 2025 first-round pick to the Montreal Canadiens in exchange for future considerations, the club announced Thursday.
Monahan, 27, scored eight goals and 23 points in 65 games with the Flames during the 2021–22 regular season. He did not play in the playoffs while recovering from hip surgery.
