Calgary Flames right-winger Jiri Hudler was named one of the three finalists in the for the Lady Byng Memorial Trophy.
Hudler is joined by Pavel Datsyuk of the Detroit Red Wings and Anze Kopitar of the Los Angeles Kings, as voted by the Professional Hockey Writers Association.
The award is for sportsmanship and gentlemanly conduct with a high standard of play.
“I’m honoured to be nominated for this award,” Hudler said in a statement on the team's website hours before the Flames faced off with the Vancouver Canucks in their playoff series. “I appreciate the voters selecting me as a candidate.
