The season may be over, but that doesn’t mean we don’t have plenty to talk about. Ok, I’m being a little generous when I say “plenty”. But, let’s check out what’s happening with the Calgary Flames today.
Of course, since it’s Calgary, there are still talks about a new arena. And with Joe Louis Arena having it’s final season, the Saddledome will now officially be the oldest arena in the NHL. There were proposals for a new arena with the CalgaryNEXT project, but the Calgary Sports and Entertainment Corporation would like to keep the arena at or close to Stampede Park.
