In any critique of his floundering club, the Calgary Flames captain was always quick to point out that he, too, needed to be better.
Well … guess what? The Flames are finally looking like a factor in the NHL’s Pacific Division, and their recent success has, in a lot of ways, started with Giordano.
“His game has definitely came back,” acknowledged Flames head coach Bob Hartley after Wednesday’s practice. “When your top players are playing at the top of their game, it seems that it snowballs.
