Flames right winger and proud father of two takes home the league's award for sportsmanship.
It's been a busy night for the Flames thus far at the NHL Awards, with four nominations and one win so far with Bob Hartley's Jack Adams win. Jiri Hudler doubled that total after taking home the Lady Byng Memorial Trophy tonight.
Annually awarded to the "player adjudged to have exhibited the best type of sportsmanship and gentlemanly conduct combined with a high standard of playing ability," it is easy to see why the voters (PWHA writers) deemed Hudler most suitable.
