89 Champs: Where Are They Now: Brian MacLellan

Brian MacLellan spent 10 years in NHL rinks from 1982 until he retired in 1992. A little over 2 of those 10 were spent with the Flames and he was part of the 1989 Stanley Cup Championship team.

MacLellan came over to the Flames after spending 60 games of the 88-89 season with the Minnesota North Stars. In his brief appearance with the Flames during the regular season he scored 2 goals in 12 games. MacLellan had a fairly quiet Stanley Cup Playoffs that season, playing in 21 games and registering 5 points.

After leaving Calgary in 1990-91 he spent one season with the Detroit Red Wings.
