The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign is the University of Illinois is U of I is UIUC is Illinois is the Illinois Fighting Illini.
The University of California is the University of California, Berkeley is UC Berkeley is Berkeley is California is Cal is the California Golden Bears.
It is not Cal State.
