The California Golden Bears (6-5, 3-5 Pac 12) defeated the Stanford Cardinal (4-7, 3-6 Pac 12) 24-20, Saturday. The victory brings the Stanford Axe back to Berkeley, Calif., for the first time in a decade.
The Golden Bears, led by quarterback Chase Garbers, are now bowl-eligible. The Cardinal, however, will miss the post-season for the first time in 10 years.
