California QB Davis Webb faced a gauntlet of top cornerbacks in Pac-12 play this past season — namely Oregon State’s Treston Decoud (25th overall CB on PFF’s draft board), USC’s Adoree’ Jackson (12th overall CB) and Washington’s Sidney Jones (fourth overall CB). Webb did not fare too well against the aforementioned trio, recording three of his seven worst NFL QB ratings when targeting any one of the defenders four or more times.
Against Jones, Webb saw a 4.5 NFL QB rating after targeting the Washington CB 13 times, completing only four of those passes for 51 yards.
