The waiting and speculation can finally come to an end.
Jared Goff has been selected first overall in the 2016 NFL Draft to the Los Angeles Rams.
Goff had been predicted to go first overall by multiple analysts and was chosen by the Rams after they traded for the pick from the Tennessee Titans. The Rams gave up the team’s first-round pick this year at No. 15, two second-round selections and a third-round pick along with their first-round and third-round picks in 2017.
The quarterback is the second first overall pick in Cal history with the first being when Steve Bartkowski was selected by the Atlanta Falcons in 1975.
