LAS VEGAS -- Jabari Bird, who leads Cal in scoring at 14.9 points per game, will miss the rest of his team's matchup against Oregon in the Pac-12 tournament semifinals on Friday while he's evaluated for a possible concussion, a team spokeswoman said.

Bird was being taken to University Medical Center in Las Vegas for "precautionary" reasons as part of the concussion protocol, the team said.

Early in the first half, Oregon's Jordan Bell pump-faked in the lane before Bird jumped, fell over Bell's shoulder and hit the ground.
