All four of the matchups from Wildcard weekend featured at least one former Golden Bear on an active roster, with Cameron Jordan and the New Orleans Saints getting the better of Ron Rivera, Richard Rodgers Sr., and the Carolina Panthers 31-26. Daniel Lasco is also a member of the Saints, but is currently on injured reserve.
Cam Jordan made three tackles, two pass deflections, one sack, and two quarterback pressures. Arguably his biggest contribution, though, doesn’t show up in the box score. Jordan was largely responsible for the intentional grounding (I don’t think it was grounding, but I digress) which effectively ended Carolina’s chance at a game-winning score.
