NORMAN, Okla. - The No. 7 California Golden Bears men's gymnastics team placed third in Norman, Oklahoma on Saturday in a meet against the defending national champion and current No. 1 Oklahoma Sooners as well as the No. 6 Iowa Hawkeyes. The Sooners captured the meet with a team score of 447.400, while Iowa narrowly edged Cal with a score of 426.950. The Bears team total of 425.850 was their second-best performance of the season, and an improvement on last week's score of 425.
