The California Golden Bears have ‘excused’ WR Trevon Clark from the program for ‘personal reasons,’ according to head coach Justin Wilcox.
“Trevon is excused for personal reasons right now and we’ll update you moving forward,” Wilcox said.
Though unclear why this all came about now, nor when we can expect him to return, Wilcox was prompted to answer the question after Clark was left off the depth chart ahead of this week’s matchup with the Washington State Cougars.
Clark did not play last week against Oregon and has caught just four passes all season long after transferring from Ventura Junior College a season ago.
