Unfortunately, the favorite to land Habibi-Likio at the moment appears to be Oregon, though he is reportedly interested in all four of the aforementioned schools. His main draw is his versatility, which will allow him to play multiple positions in college similar to Jabrill Peppers at Michigan. According to Scout, he has the ability to play running back, safety and linebacker.
With most of Cal’s staff being filled out just now, Cal is seemingly at a disadvantage, but its possible the draw of playing for the new coaching staff could shift the momentum in Cal’s favor, but we won’t really know what this recruiting class thinks of the new staff until National Signing Day when the class rounds itself out.
