Cal has made their first coaching hires of the cycle! They are the names that have been leaked early on in the process. Former Eastern Washington coach Beau Baldwin will be the new Cal offensive coordinator under Justin Wilcox. Former Oregon offensive line coach Steve Greatwood will join Cal in a similar capacity.
Baldwin has been the head coach at Eastern Washington from 2008 to 2016, winning an FCS national title in 2010, earning five league championships, and winning 11+ games five times. Baldwin has compiled a 95-35 record as a head coach.
"Beau Baldwin has a long and successful track record as a head coach and produced some of the nation's most potent offenses during a long tenure at Eastern Washington," Wilcox said.
