Just under 36 hours until National Signing Day, Cal loses another commitment from their 2017 recruiting class. Jeremy Crabtree of ESPN has learned that JUCO signee Da’Quan Patton has moved on over to Kansas State and is already on campus in Manhattan.
Patton wasn’t listed on the Cal spring roster and it appears that he will not be a member of the Bears going forward. Kansas State is famous for being one of the best hubs in the country for top junior college talent, so the Wildcats are an optimal location.
It is Cal’s sixth decommit since the Bears changed coaches from Sonny Dykes to Justin Wilcox.
