The Cal Athletics Fund summer caravan got kicked off with their first virtual seminar titled ‘Coaching Through Crisis’ earlier this week. Four separate head coaches from Cal took turns speaking in a first-ever virtual event.
Football head coach Justin Wilcox, Rugby head coach Jack Clark, men’s basketball head coach Mark Fox and women’s basketball head coach Charmin Smith each spoke at the virtual event which typically consisted of a road trip to different spots around the west coast.
Senior Associate Athletics Director and CDO Brian Mann spoke on the alterations and importance of the event.
