Three Pac-12 programs have popped up as potential transfer destinations for USC quarterback Max Browne, one of them including the California Golden Bears. Cal, Colorado and Washington State have all popped up as potential possibilities, according to Lars Hanson of Rivals. Browne lost his starting job to Sam Darnold earlier this season, and has sought his release to be a graduate transfer in his final year of eligibility.
Let’s take a look at the situations at the three programs.
Cal: Davis Webb will be gone next season, leaving the Bears with a prolonged battle between Max Gilliam, Chase Forrest, Ross Bowers and Vic Viramontes.
