With all the attention centered in on the NBA Summer League debut of Markelle Fultz and Jayson Taytum in yesterday’s Celtics vs. 76ers game, it was Jaylen Brown who turned out to be the best player on the court yesterday. Brown put up 29 points and 13 rebounds.
Brown also came up with the biggest play of the game, coming from the help side to reject Fultz at the buzzer to clinch the win.
Brown looked even more polished than he did at the end of his rookie season; with an array of spin moves, Euro steps, and fancy footwork, he was clearly the best player on the floor.
