The 2020 NFL Draft stole all the headlines this past weekend but we can’t overlook the fact that head coach Justin Wilcox and the California Golden Bears football team received the pledge from two different three-star recruits for the 2021 recruiting cycle.
Both Kaleb Higgins and Hunter Barth pledged to Cal in the past two weeks, giving Cal seven commitments for the 2021 class already.
Higgins is a three-star cornerback and stands at 6’2, 175. From Folsom High School in Folsom, California, Higgins is the 21st-ranked cornerback prospect in the 2021 class and ranks as the 36th-best player in the state.
