Mater Dei viciously eliminated Vista Murrieta from the playoffs 49-7 in a first-round matchup between the two to improve to 11-0 this season. Once again, it looks like Remigio was injured and missed out on playing in this one. Next up for Mater Dei is a second round showdown with Long Beach Poly.

Hart extended its winning streak to five games after defeating Sierra Canyon 21-7 to improve to 8-3 this season. Shrout completed 13 of 21 passes for 168 yards, two touchdowns and one interception.
