Spencer Brasch is a 6’4”, 190 pound dual-threat quarterback from Higley High School in Gilbert, Arizona. He is rated as a consensus 3-star recruit.
Brasch was first offered by Cal in May of 2018. He received a total of 17 offers before taking an official visit to Cal on June 10th and omitting two days later. He then signed on Early Signing Day.
As one could likely infer from his dual-threat listing, Brasch is a fantastic athlete, at least on paper. A former track-and-field athlete, Brasch’s 4.77 40-yard dash, 4.69 20-yard shuttle, and 32.6” vertical leap are all excellent numbers for an incoming freshman quarterback.
