Well, it looks like we’re going to have to wait a little longer for the Golden Bears to return to action. On Thursday afternoon, the Pac-12 announced this weekend’s game featuring Cal and Washington has been cancelled due to COVID-19 cases with Cal.
This comes at the worst possible time, as the Pac-12 was the last Power 5 conference to begin their season this weekend. Something to note here is the fact this game has been cancelled, not postponed. With the season starting this late, there are no bye weeks for the Pac 12 this season, meaning there is no time to make this game up.
