The California Golden Bears did not do too well in their first game against the UCLA Bruins, albeit under very strange circumstances. This whole season is going to be an odd situation of very fluid situations that require teams to move and pivot off scheduled plans to make due with unscheduled plans.
That being said, the games (for the most part) will still be played. The action will still be intense Pac-12 vs Pac-12 action.
And players are going to be making their debuts in one way or another.
For Cal, however, 21 different players made their career debuts in the first game against UCLA, four of which were brand new starters.
