West Jordan motorcycle officer injured in crash

A West Jordan motorcycle officer was injured Wednesday after being hit by a car, according to the police department.

The officer — who was taken to a hospital by ambulance — was reported to be in “fair” condition after the wreck. A 911 dispatcher said the crashed occurred around 11:15 a.m. near 9000 South and Bangerter Highway.

Update. Motor Officer was hit by vehicle. He is in fair condition. PIO on scene at community college for media inquiries.
