After being called up from Dallas’ G-league affiliate the Texas Legends earlier in the week, former BYU hoops star Kyle Collinsworth made his NBA debut for the Dallas Mavericks versus the Detroit Pistons Wednesday night.
Collinsworth checked in for the Mavs early in the second quarter, and immediately hit a three to tie the game up. Here is the video from the Mavericks’ official twitter account:
The Mavs have the NBA’s second-worst record (9-23), but were able to comfortably beat the Pistons, 110-93. For the night, Collinsworth played 13 minutes, finishing with 3 points (1-2 shooting), 1 rebound, 1 steal, and 1 turnover.
