Northern Utah is mostly getting a break from snowstorms this week, which is not altogether good news. All you have to do is look outside to know that an inversion is building — and it will get worse before it gets better.
According to the Utah Department of Environmental Quality, PM2.5 pollution — fine particulate — rose to yellow (or moderate) caution levels in Salt Lake, Utah, Davis, Tooele and Weber Counties by Tuesday morning. Cache County was at orange (unhealthy for sensitive groups) caution level.
