Utah goes to Kansas State Sunday for the second round of the WNIT

The Utah women’s basketball team extended its season with a 10-point victory over UNLV in Salt Lake City on Thursday night. Now, they’ll tangle with Big 12 member Kansas State (17-15) at 4 p.m. MDT on Sunday in Bramlage Coliseum.

With a win Sunday, the Utes (18-13) would record their highest win total during the tenure of third-year coach Lynne Roberts and the program’s most since the 2012-13 season (22 wins).

The status of junior forward Megan Huff is uncertain after she left Thursday night’s game with an ankle injury with 10.7 seconds remaining. Huff missed the final two games of the regular season with a sprained ankle and wasn’t fully healthy for the team’s Pac-12 tournament game against Colorado.
