A Utah couple has been charged with several sex crimes as the result of an longterm affair with a girl when she was 14 and 15 years old.
Michael Mahoney, 57, and Christinas Mahoney, 33, have each been charged with two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, second-degree felonies; and five counts of unlawful sexual activity with a minor, third-degree felonies.
According to court documents, the Mahoneys began engaging in sexual acts with the then-14-year-old girl in November 2017, and the sexual activity continue from March-November 2018 — both together and individually.
Christina Mahoney also faces three charges of violating a protective order, class-A misdemeanors.
