Upset! BYU holds on to beat #14 Boise State

Who expected that?

After two embarrassing losses, BYU came back home and shocked the 14th-ranked Boise State Broncos, 28-25.

After going down 10-7 at halftime, BYU pulled out the trickery in the third quarter to jump ahead to a 28-10 lead. Boise State battled back to within three in the fourth quarter, but a 4th down conversion with two minutes left iced the game for BYU.

Walk-on freshman Baylor Romney made his first career start, and avoided big mistakes and made some key throws. Romney finished 15/26 for 221 yards and 2 touchdowns. BYU’s offense as a whole finished with 349 yards and held the Broncos to 355 yards.
