In a night where Yoeli Childs was a bit under the weather, TJ Haws responded with a career-high 30 points to lift BYU to a 85-66 win over Portland State.
BYU handled Portland State’s press fairly well and held the Vikings to 31.8% shooting from the field. The defense also forced 21 PSU turnovers and 21% three-point shooting.
Haws finished 5-10 from three and added 5 assists and 3 rebounds. Yoeli Childs was second on the team with 13 points, and Zac Seljaas and Connor Harding each added 11 points apiece.
