Pullman, Wash. • Utah survived a second-half shooting spree that included 10 3-pointers by Washington State and escaped with a 77-70 win over the Cougars at Beasley Coliseum on Saturday night to win its fourth consecutive game.
Justin Bibbins scored a game-high 24 points and Gabe Bealer scored 18 off the bench on six 3-pointers, while Tyler Rawson added 15 points and 15 rebounds.
Washington State’s Malachi Flynn scored 20 points in a loss. The Utes swept the season series against the Cougars and have won nine straight contests between the teams.
