BYU football defeated No. 3 Oklahoma in Jerry World.
It’s been nearly a decade, but sometimes it still doesn’t seem real. Seems like a dream.
But rest assured, it was real. BYU football stunned the Sooners 14-13.
Max Hall completed 26-of-38 passes for 329 yards and two touchdowns (and two picks). McKay Jacobson hauled in four passes for 69 yards and a touchdown and Dennis Pitta caught seven balls for 90 yards.
Looking back at the roster, Oklahoma was incredibly talented. The Sooners returned a Heisman Trophy winner (Sam Bradford), three All-Americans and four All-Big 12 players from the team that made a National Championship game appearance the year earlier.
