On Wednesday, the forecast high is just 49, and there's a 30% chance of rain showers — along with a slight possibility of snow showers — before 3 p.m. There's little or no chance of snow accumulation in the Salt Lake area, according to the NWS, but overnight temperatures are expected to dip blowing freezing to a low of about 28.
