Report: ‘Reluctance’ from Mike Conley to go to Utah. Is Raptors’ Kyle Lowry a possible substitute?

The New York Times' Marc Stein confirmed a report from ESPN’s Brian Windhorst that Mike Conley would prefer to head to the Eastern Conference if he were traded, rather than head to the Utah Jazz.

Windhorst continued to say “[Toronto’s Kyle] Lowry has a possibility that he could end up with the Jazz. Lowry is definitely concerned about being traded by tomorrow.”

The Salt Lake Tribune has not independently confirmed either report. Lowry was, Tribune sources say, a target of the Jazz’s in free agency two summers ago, but the Jazz opted to save their money to potentially resign Gordon Hayward.
