The Lone Peak senior scored 29 points in the Knights boys’ basketball team’s 87-82 loss to Montverde Academy of Florida in Thursday’s opening round of the GEICO High School Nationals tournament in New York. Ashworth earned a spot on the all-tournament team for his efforts. He went 7 of 14 on 3-pointers and 4 of 4 on free throws in the loss.
