Political Cornflakes: Another government shutdown? Negotiations are breaking down as Friday’s deadline nears

Happy Monday. Another month, another possible government shutdown. The funding for several government agencies runs out on Friday, and with congressional negotiations breaking down -- again! -- its possible that hundreds of thousands of federal workers could be furloughed or work without pay -- again. Topping the news: A new poll shows most Utahns back special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe of President Donald Trump and his team, but a majority of Republicans are against it.
