Just months after graduating, former BYU golfer Patrick Fishburn has begun his professional career, and he started it off on a good foot.

Over the weekend, Fishburn finished the Utah Championship at 15-under par to finish in a tie for 24th.

In the four-round tournament, Fishburn shot 67, 67, 68, and 67 at the par-71 Oakridge Country Club in Farmington, Utah.

Fishburn led BYU Men’s Golf throughout his four seasons as a Cougar. As a senior, he ranked No. 37 in the nation individually, and helped BYU reach the NCAA Championships. There, he finished 35th in the individual competition.
