Three weeks after announcing that he would transfer to BYU, Ty’Son and BYU made it official that he has been accepted into a BYU graduate program. With BYU graduate programs oftentimes not catering to athletes, there had been speculation on if Ty’Son would be accepted into a program.
Here’s what Kalani Sitake had to say about Ty’Son in BYU’s press release: “Ty’Son really wants to be here at BYU,” Sitake said. “He has a strong vision for his career and is excited about the opportunities at BYU to advance his education and career goals. Ty’Son is a well-rounded football player who can carry the ball and catch it out of the backfield.
