Former Southern Utah cornerback LeShaun Sims had a breakout game for Tennessee on Sunday in the Titans' 13-10 victory over Denver.
Sims, a fifth-round NFL draft pick this season, helped Tennessee earn a key victory in the race for the postseason by coming off the bench and recording five solo tackles, a tackle for loss and a pass deflection against the Super Bowl champs.
Near the end of the third quarter, Sims tackled Denver wide receiver Jordan Taylor for a 2-yard loss on a first-and-goal play at the Titans' 4-yard line. Two plays later, Sims knocked away a pass to Demaryius Thomas in the end zone.
