Former BYU linebacker Alani Fua was waived with an injury designation by the Arizona Cardinals on Monday after injuring his knee in training camp last week.

The news was more positive for a former Utah State cornerback, though, as Tay Glover-Wright signed with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Fua has spent two years with the Cardinals organization after signing with the team as an undrafted free agent in 2015.
