Former BYU linebacker Alani Fua was waived with an injury designation by the Arizona Cardinals on Monday after injuring his knee in training camp last week.
Fua has spent two years with the Cardinals organization after signing with the team as an undrafted free agent in 2015. He played in all 16 games as a rookie, mainly on special teams, and had seven tackles.
